UV PVC marble sheet is a solid-core PVC panel with a high-definition marble print sealed under a UV-cured coating. Eastopo manufactures these sheets in China at 1220mm wide by 2440/2600/2900mm long, in 2.0–5.0mm thicknesses, CE certified to EN 13245-2. We supply marble wall panels and marble effect sheets factory-direct to distributors, cladding stockists and fit-out contractors across the UK, EU, US, Australia and New Zealand.

What a UV PVC Marble Sheet Actually Is
Strip the marketing language away and a UV PVC marble sheet is a flat PVC board with a printed stone pattern on the face and a clear protective layer cured on top. The printing carries the veining. The UV coating carries the durability. The PVC core carries the structure.
That combination is why marble wall panels in this format keep replacing natural stone in commercial fit-outs. A 2–5mm solid sheet weighs a fraction of a 20mm marble slab, needs no structural reinforcement, and mounts directly onto existing walls. For a hotel lobby or a showroom wall, the installed cost lands well below stone while the visual effect stays close.
What separates a supplier from a factory here is simple: the factory controls the printing register, the coating thickness and the batch consistency. A trader resells whatever the market gives him. We print, coat, cut and pack on our own floor, which is why our pvc marble sheet batches hold their veining pattern across a full production run.
The Build: Five Layers Behind the Stone Look
A UV marble sheet is not a printed sticker glued to a board. It is a five-stage build, and each stage decides how the panel behaves five years after installation:
1. Solid PVC core. PVC compound with calcium-zinc stabilisers. The formulation incorporates a screened proportion of recycled PVC, blended so the sheet stays free of brittleness and odour. Core thickness runs 2.0–5.0mm depending on the application.
2. Sanded face. The core is surfaced flat before printing. An uneven face shows up as dead patches in the marble pattern, so this pass matters more than buyers think.
3. High-definition print. The marble veining is laid down in high resolution. This is where a Calacatta, Carrara or Nero Marquina pattern either looks like stone or looks like a photocopy.
4. UV-cured coating. The printed face is coated and cured under ultraviolet light to a hardness of 2H or better on the pencil scale. This layer absorbs the scratches, the cleaning chemicals and the daily traffic.
5. Protective film. A peel-off film guards the finished face during transport and handling. It comes off at installation, leaving a surface that wipes clean with a soft cloth.
When a marble pvc sheet fails in service, the failure nearly always traces back to one of these five stages being skipped or cheapened at the factory.
Spec Sheet — Sizes, Thickness and Tolerances
| Feature | Specification |
| Width | 1220mm |
| Length | 2440 / 2600 / 2900mm |
| Core structure | Solid PVC, 2.0–5.0mm |
| Material | PVC compound with calcium-zinc stabilisers (virgin + recycled blend) |
| Surface | UV-cured coating, ≥2H pencil hardness |
| Water absorption | ≤0.5% |
| Formaldehyde | Undetectable |
| Certification | CE per EN 13245-2 (cert. SC-PSC-4-2026-06-54) |
| Installation | Adhesive direct-bond or mechanical fixing + aluminium trim profiles |
Standard width is fixed at 1220mm. Length options of 2440, 2600 and 2900mm let a specifier cover a full wall height without a horizontal joint, which is why a pvc marble panel order ships as full-height pieces rather than a stack of offcuts. For OEM runs we cut to project dimensions, and the same tooling can produce 3D synchronous texture, wood grain and stone ranges from one production schedule.

Where Marble Wall Panels Get Specified
Marble wall panels in UV-coated PVC earn their place in spaces where stone is either too heavy, too slow or too expensive to install:
Hotel lobbies and corridors. High foot traffic, high visual standard, tight construction programmes. A 2900mm sheet runs floor to ceiling in one piece, and the 2H surface shrugs off luggage trolleys and cleaning passes.
Elevator cabins. Panels are cut to cabin dimensions, edge-banded with aluminium trim, and installed without the weight that stone adds to a lift shaft.
Living room and bedroom feature walls. The residential retrofit market in the UK and US buys this category heavily because a feature wall goes up in a day without structural assessment.
Bathrooms and wet zones. With water absorption at 0.5% or below, the sheet does not swell, delaminate or feed mould. The same product runs on shower walls and behind vanities.
Retail and hospitality interiors. Bars, restaurants, showrooms and medical reception areas use marble effect wall panels where real stone would blow the budget and the programme.
If you are specifying for a commercial project, send the wall schedule rather than a product name. We match sheet length, thickness and trim profile to the actual substrate conditions.
When a Cheap Marble-Look Sheet Fails
The marble wall panel market is crowded with low-priced sheets that look fine in a sample photo and fail on site. Here is what actually goes wrong, because it is what your warranty department will hear about:
UV layer delamination. A thin or under-cured coating lifts from the print, usually at cut edges or where panels meet in a corner. The fix is coating thickness control on the line, not a better adhesive on site.
Pattern drift between batches. A 300sqm order arriving in two containers should read as one continuous wall. If the printer register drifts, the veining steps visibly at the batch boundary. This is why we log pattern reference numbers per batch.
Poorly screened recycled content. Sheets made with unsorted regrind crack at the screw holes and emit a plastic smell in warm rooms. Controlled recycled content, screened and blended into the formulation properly, does neither — which is why we state the material formulation in writing on every quotation.
Yellowing in bright light. A UV coating is only as good as its anti-yellowing package. Cheap coatings amber within two years on a west-facing wall. The UV-cured layer on our sheets is formulated for colour stability, and the printed pattern sits protected underneath it.
None of these failures shows up in a single-sheet sample. They show up in the second container. Order from a factory that controls the process, not a broker who controls a spreadsheet.
Factory-Direct vs Retail: What the Price Gap Pays For
US retail listings price 4x8ft PVC marble sheets between $59 and $129 per sheet, and UK panel stockists sell comparable 10mm wall panels from roughly £45 upwards. Those price tags pay for warehousing, marketing, retail margin and the middle of a supply chain that starts, in most cases, at a Chinese factory very much like ours.
Buying factory-direct changes what the money pays for. The same production floor that makes retail stock will make your order: your colours, your cut lengths, your carton spec and your brand on the packaging. You pay for material and process, not for shelf space.
That is the practical difference between a pvc marble sheet bought from a retailer and a run bought from Eastopo:
Retail route: fixed sizes, fixed patterns, per-sheet pricing, no customisation, stock risk held by the buyer.
Factory route: OEM sizes and patterns, container pricing, your brand on pack, batch-level QC records, sample-to-contract path.
If your business is distributing wall panels, stocking a showroom, or supplying fit-out contractors, the factory route is the one that leaves margin in the deal.
Wholesale Orders — MOQ, Lead Time and Samples
The ordering mechanics matter as much as the sheet spec, so here they are without the sales gloss:
MOQ. 500 square metres per colour and finish. Mixed sizes and patterns can share a container within the same order, which is how distributors build a first stock order without over-committing to one design.
Lead time. 18–22 days for stock patterns and standard sizes; 28–35 days for custom sizes, custom prints or branded packaging. Lead times quoted against the actual production schedule, not a template.
Samples. Sample sheets ship ahead of the order. Freight on standard samples is collect; the cost is rebated when the order is confirmed.
Trade terms. EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF from Ningbo or Shanghai. Packing is PE-wrapped sheets in export cartons, palletised and strapped per the loading plan.
Certification documents and batch QC records travel with the shipment, and the CE certificate number (SC-PSC-4-2026-06-54) is available for your compliance file before you commit.
FAQ
What are PVC marble sheets used for? +
PVC marble sheets are used for interior wall cladding where the look of natural marble is wanted without the weight, cost or installation complexity of stone. Common applications are hotel lobbies, elevator cabins, living room feature walls, bathroom walls, kitchen splashbacks, retail displays and office corridors. The sheets bond directly to existing walls with adhesive or mechanical fixing.
What is the difference between a UV marble sheet and a standard printed PVC sheet? +
A standard printed sheet has the marble pattern printed and left exposed. A UV marble sheet has the print sealed under a UV-cured coating hardened to 2H or better. That coating is what resists scratches, cleaning chemicals, fading and yellowing. Without it, the printed pattern wears through in high-traffic areas within a couple of years.
Are UV PVC marble sheets waterproof enough for a bathroom? +
Yes. The solid PVC core has water absorption of 0.5% or below, so the sheet does not swell or delaminate in humid conditions, and the sealed surface does not feed mould. Bathroom use is a standard application, including shower walls and splashbacks. Seal the cut edges with trim profiles or silicone in wet zones for a finished installation.
How long does a PVC marble sheet last? +
With the UV-cured surface intact, a quality PVC marble sheet lasts 10 years or more in normal interior service, including high-traffic commercial areas. The printed pattern is protected underneath the coating, so the main wear risk is physical scraping rather than fading. Simple wiping with a soft cloth keeps the surface clean; harsh solvents such as banana oil are not recommended.
What are the disadvantages of PVC marble sheets? +
The main limitations are physical impact and heat. A solid PVC sheet is lighter than stone and can be dented by a heavy sharp blow, and it is not rated for direct flame contact. Poorly screened recycled content can make cheaper sheets brittle and odorous, so checking the recycled-content quality and the coating hardness avoids the quality failure modes.
What sizes and thicknesses are available for a wholesale order? +
Standard sheets are 1220mm wide by 2440, 2600 or 2900mm long, in solid-core thicknesses from 2.0mm to 5.0mm. OEM runs can cut to project dimensions and lengths. The MOQ is 500 square metres per colour and finish, with mixed sizes and patterns allowed within one order.
How much does a PVC marble sheet cost? +
US retail listings price 4x8ft PVC marble sheets between $59 and $129 per sheet. Factory-direct pricing for wholesale volumes is materially lower because it carries no retail margin or warehousing. Exact pricing depends on thickness, length, finish and order quantity; a quotation is issued from the production schedule, not a list price.
Can I get OEM or custom designs for a project? +
Yes. OEM runs cover custom sizes, custom lengths, branded packaging and your choice of finish across the marble, wood grain and 3D synchronous texture ranges. Custom prints are scheduled as a separate production run. The MOQ for OEM work is the same 500 square metres per design, with lead times of 28 to 35 days.
