Wall Panel Trim — PVC & Aluminium Trim Profiles

Wall Panel Trim: A Profile for Every Edge. No Gaps. No Guesswork.

Wall panels look clean when the edges are clean. A 0.5mm gap at a corner joint catches light. Catches dust. Catches water. Fitters see it instantly. So do building inspectors. The fix is not more silicone. It's the right wall panel trim, cut to length, snapped or bonded into place.

We supply six standard wall panel trim types in PVC and five in aluminium. Each one solves a specific edge. Internal corner. External corner. Panel-to-panel join. Exposed cut edge. Ceiling line. Floor line. If your panel system uses 8mm or 10mm sheet, our PVC profiles match. If you need 3mm, 6mm, or 18mm compatibility, the aluminium range covers it.

We ship these profiles alongside panel orders or as standalone accessories. Contractors order wall panel trim kits per job. Distributors stock them by the pallet.

OEM Trim Profiles: Your Brand, Your Profile

Distributors and buying groups want their own trim range. Same profiles, different packaging. Or modified wall panel trim profiles with a specific leg length or wall thickness. We do both.

Colour matching. Send us your wall panel sample. We match the trim colour in PVC co-extrusion or aluminium powder coat. RAL matching for aluminium. Physical sample matching for PVC — the masterbatch is adjusted until the colour reads within Delta E <1.5 under D65 light.

Private label packaging. Your brand on the carton. Your part numbers. Your barcodes. We print and pack at no extra charge above 2,000 pcs per SKU. Below that, a small setup fee per design.

Six Trim Types. One System.

Every wall panel installation hits the same six edge conditions.
Here is what each wall panel trim type does — and what happens when you skip the edging.

Where two walls meet at 90 degrees inside a room. Panels butt against each other. Without a wall panel trim, the joint line wanders. Fitters compensate with silicone, but silicone yellows. It gathers mould in bathrooms within 18 months.

Our internal corner trim sits behind both panel edges. The panels slide into the channel. No exposed cut line. No caulk. The corner stays clean for the life of the panel.

PVC: 240/260/290cm lengths. Compatible with 8-10mm panel.
Aluminium: 300cm. Fits 3-18mm. Anodised or powder coated.

This is the edge trim that takes abuse. Hallway corners. Shower enclosure edges. Hotel corridor turns. Luggage hits them. Cleaning carts scrape them. A bare panel edge chips within weeks.

The external corner trim wraps the outside angle. It absorbs impact instead of the panel. In aluminium, it doubles as a design line — a 3mm reveal that architects specify for commercial fit-outs. In the US the same reveal is drawn as aluminum trim.

We have seen jobs where the external corner was omitted and the GC called back within 60 days. The panels were fine. The corners were destroyed. That callback cost more than the trim for the whole floor.

Exposed cut edges. Window reveals. Door frames. The top edge of a half-height installation. Anywhere a panel stops without meeting another surface.

This edge trim covers the raw cut. PVC panels have a hollow core — cut edges expose it. Moisture gets in. The panel delaminates from the edge inward. An end cap seals it.

Aluminium end caps serve double duty as a design detail on feature walls. Black anodised against a marble-print panel. Clean line. No trim is visible from straight-on — only the shadow gap.

Panel-to-panel connection on long walls. This wall panel trim joins two panel edges. Standard panels are 240-300cm tall. Walls are sometimes taller. Or you are running panels horizontally and the wall is 6 metres wide. You need a joining profile.

The H joint sits between two panel edges. Each panel slides in from opposite sides. The 3mm centre bar becomes a design line. Some fitters prefer butt joints with colour-matched sealant. We do not recommend it. Thermal expansion moves the panels by 1-2mm over a 3-metre span. The H joint absorbs that movement. Silicone cracks.

Perimeter finishing. This edge trim runs where the panel meets the ceiling, the floor, or a skirting board. The L angle covers the gap with a single leg. The other leg tucks behind or under the panel.

In PVC, L angle is lightweight — 110g per metre. Fitters can cut it with a hand saw. In aluminium, it is structural — it holds the panel edge in place on suspended ceiling installations where the panel cannot be mechanically fixed at the top. US installers order this leg as aluminum trim for the same reason.

The detail trim. Internal corners that need a radius instead of a square profile. Shower enclosures where water must shed away from the joint. Healthcare fit-outs where sharp internal corners are a cleaning problem.

Quadrant creates a curved internal transition. Water runs off. Dirt does not collect. It is the most specified of our wall panel trims for UK wet room installations under NHBC standards.

PVC or Aluminium? Match the Material to the Job.

One material, two spellings. The trade writes aluminium trim in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and aluminum trim in the United States. Same 300cm extrusion, same fixing method — only the spelling on the purchase order changes. Either way it is the same edging, stocked in the same colours.

Where Wall Panel Trim Gets Used

Bathroom & Wet Room

PVC wall panels in bathrooms need all six wall panel trim types. The shower enclosure runs external corner on the entry edge, internal corner in the alcove, quadrant at the floor-wall junction, end cap at the window reveal. One bathroom uses 8-12 metres of trim. A 50-unit apartment block uses 400-600 metres. We ship wall panel trim kits pre-counted per unit for contractors who do not want to measure on site.

Commercial Fit-Out

Hotel corridors. Office lobbies. Retail fit-outs. Panels go floor-to-ceiling with H joints every 3 metres. Aluminium wall panel trim takes luggage cart impact at corridor turns. Black anodised end caps define reception desk feature walls. The spec calls for aluminium trim throughout — PVC does not hold up to daily commercial traffic.

Healthcare & Education

Quadrant internals in hospital bathrooms. No sharp corners. No silicone joints that harbour bacteria. Aluminium wall panel trim in school corridors — powder coated to match the wall colour.

Residential Volume Housing

PVC wall panel trim throughout. White internal corners, white external corners, white end caps. Standard 260cm length — one piece per wall, no joins. The housing developer orders by the container. 40ft HC loads 5,000-6,000 pieces depending on profile mix. We pack wall panel trim by house type — Type A gets 6 internals, 4 externals, 2 end caps, 2 H joints, 2 L angles. The site team opens one box per unit.

Installation Notes for Fitters

Wall panel trim goes on after the panels are fixed. Measure the wall, cut the trim 5mm short of the wall dimension — expansion allowance. Slide the panel into the trim channel. Do not force it. If the panel is binding, the trim is twisted. Shim it out.

Fix aluminium trim with low-modulus neutral-cure silicone or mechanical clips. PVC trim bonds with solvent-free hybrid polymer adhesive. One cartridge covers roughly 12-15 linear metres. Do not use standard acrylic sealant — it hardens and cracks within a thermal cycle. Adhesives and sealants are site sundries and are not part of our trim supply.

For external corners in high-traffic areas, back-fill the trim cavity with adhesive before sliding the panel in. This stops the trim from rattling when someone kicks it. We learned this from a hotel fit-out in Manchester where 200 rooms had clicking external corners at move-in. The fix was simple. Cost zero extra in material. Saved a callback.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix PVC and aluminium trims in one order? +

Yes. Most orders are mixed. We pack them separately by type and material.

What if my panels are a non-standard thickness? +

PVC trim fits 8-10mm thick panels. Aluminium trim adjusts from 3mm to 18mm. For thicknesses outside this range, a custom channel can be produced to your panel spec.

Do the trims come in lengths longer than 300cm? +

Standard maximum is 300cm for shipping reasons — container internal width is 235cm, so 300cm trims load diagonally. We can produce up to 600cm for LCL shipments. Surcharge applies for lengths over 300cm due to handling complexity.

How do I calculate trim quantities for a project? +

Count every corner, every exposed edge, every panel-to-panel join in your floor plan. Internal corners = number of inside wall intersections. External corners = number of outside wall turns. End caps = number of exposed panel edges (windows, doors, half-walls, top edges). H joints = number of panel joins on walls longer than the panel width. Send us the plan and we will do the count for you.

Are your trims compatible with panels from other manufacturers? +

Yes, if the panel thickness falls within our wall panel trim channel tolerance. PVC wall panel trim is designed for 8-10mm panels — this covers most shower and bathroom panels on the market. Aluminium wall panel trim is more flexible at 3-18mm. For non-standard systems, order a sample set first and test fit on site.
