Many families install PVC wall panels to protect their walls and reduce impact damage. These panels are not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. So, how many steps are involved in installing PVC wall panels? Below, we'll introduce the installation steps for PVC wall panels to help you understand them better.

Detailed PVC Wall Panel Installation Steps

1. Measure the Wall

First, use a ruler to measure the length of the wall panels to be installed. This will allow you to calculate the required number of panels.

2. Nail fixing holes in the aluminum alloy frame. Then, according to the hole spacing, use expansion screws or nails to attach the baseboard hooks to the wall.

3. Begin installing the baseboard. First, apply special adhesive to both ends of the baseboard, stick it to the corner, and then pull it open for a few minutes to ensure it's firmly attached. If the space is damp, you can combine two baseboards. In this case, leave an appropriate expansion joint, especially at corners, where more space should be considered.

4. Install the wall panels. First, insert the wall panels into the baseboard from left to right, starting from the corner where a groove is cut towards the corner. Install expansion screws or steel nails 1.5 cm from the top edge of the wall panel, ensuring the screws are not exposed. Then, apply special adhesive to the groove of the baseboard, wait a few minutes, and then insert the panel into the raised surface. At the corner, the angle must be 45 degrees.

5. Install the rubber anti-collision strips at the aluminum alloy clips, ensuring the left and right ends are inserted into the sides of the wall panel. Cut the PVC wall panel to the desired length and cover the aluminum alloy panel. Installation is now complete.

6. Towards the end of the installation, apply special adhesive to the corners and adhere it all the way to the top corner. Pull it slightly apart first, then firmly stick it on. This increases the wall panel's strength and extends its lifespan. The PVC wall panel installation is now complete.

Precautions for Installing PVC Wall Panels

1. During the bending process, be sure to take the wall thickness into account. First, mark the bending line, then apply the polyurethane material, generally around 8 mm thick. Try to keep it straight before bonding.

2. If there are differences between the top and bottom of the wall, make adjustments using the PVC wood-plastic wall panels. Use the smallest bend as the adjustment point, using wooden strips as support points. Wait until the top and bottom are aligned before installing the PVC wall panels. If the wall has uneven surfaces, use a level to level it before installation.
