With rising education levels and continuous technological advancements, new types of decorative materials are flooding our lives. These materials offer diverse shapes, rich colors, and are lightweight. Wood-plastic composite (WPC) wall panels are a typical example. As the name suggests, they are wall decoration materials. Many people may not be familiar with WPC wall panels, so let's take a look at them together!
What are Wood-Plastic Composite Wall Panels?
Wood-plastic composite wall panels, also known as eco-wood, are not easily deformed, are moisture-proof, and insect-proof, possessing certain environmental protection properties. They are aesthetically pleasing, come in a variety of colors and patterns, and have a wide range of applications. They replace preservative-treated wood and are often used for three-dimensional wall effects and interior background wall decoration.
Installation Method for Wood-Plastic Composite Wall Panels
Step 1: First, install the keel (frame) using expansion tubes for fixing, ensuring the entire surface is level. Install the WPC keel on the ground, maintaining a 5-6cm gap between expansion tubes, ensuring the surface of the WPC keel is higher than the screw heads.
Step 2: Fix self-tapping screws onto the WPC keel, aligning them with the surface of the WPC wall panel, with a spacing of approximately 5mm.
Step 3: Secure the wood-plastic wall panels and joists with screws at the beginning and end of the installation. Use plastic clips at the junctions of the remaining wood-plastic wall panels and joists to check for a secure connection.
White textured wood-plastic wall panels, paired with Mediterranean-style archways and country-style cross-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows, offer a simple and pure visual experience. A bright red archway against a white main color scheme, complemented by light-colored anti-corrosion wood, creates a striking contrast and a harmonious color combination. If you prefer a relaxed style, consider this design.
The space uses warm colors as the main theme, with similarly colored wall panels used for decoration. The combination of wood-plastic and solid wood wall panels fills the space with warmth. Solid wood furniture paired with a modern fabric sofa creates a stable overall look while maintaining a fashionable element. A European-style chandelier adds a unique visual experience to the mixed style.
